The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show We Have All Been Waiting For…
From immaculate feathers to diamonds and other precious stones, intricate detailed lace, expensive silk and thigh high lace up boots, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has shown us every year more than a lingerie show. It is a transposition into an ideal world, in which the woman is the image of refinement, beauty and sophistication.
However, the company has been harshly criticized over the past year, being critiqued for the alleged disregard of the #MeToo movement. Furthermore, their sales have fallen by 9% compared to the 2016 profit.
All in all, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show remains an exciting event marked in the calendar by many fashion and lingerie enthusiasts.
Every year on November 8th, which is today, Victoria’s Secret opens its wings, and a battalion of beautiful girls with legs for days, with their perfectly styled hair and diaphanous smiles gracefully walk into what is supposed to be the most grandiose end-of-the-year show of 2018.
The most anticipated moment of the show is the reveal of ‘Fantasy Bra’. Each year a lucky angel is chosen to show off the carefully crafted bra that costs millions of dollars. Just to give you an idea, the most expensive bra worn by Victoria’s Secret angel was ‘The Red Hot Fantasy Bra’ which cost $15 million and was worn by Gisele Bündchen in 2000.
This year’s model that will be in the spotlight with the next ‘Fantasy Bra’ is the superb blonde bombshell, Elsa Hosk. The bra is evaluated at $1 million and is designed in collaboration with @AtelierSwarovski, being decorated with 2,100 Swarovski custom diamonds.
We, already, are obsessed with Elsa Hosk’s fashion style, which we have previously presented in an article here, but this year we are really looking forward to being stunned by her look.
Also, if you are in love with this bra and wish you would have one, from November 29th, you can have it. Victoria’s Secret told their customers that they can buy a similar version of the bra for $250.The show will be featured online and on TV on December 2nd.
